Hello I’m Maria! I’m an Animation Director born in Cyprus, based in the UK.

I have a background in illustration and animation and I recently graduated from The National Film and Television School studying an MA on Directing Animation.

My work includes Stop motion animation, 2D animation and 3D computer animation. I’m always open in all tequniques and new softwares in order to to tell stories the best way posible. I’m passionate in making films that capturing characters' emotional journeys, that people can easily relate to. I always like to comunicating stories with a wider audience so in my films I tent to explore visual storytelling with limited dialogue. My films mostly tackle themes of home, perfectionism, perspective and questions about life and existence!
